This site is published by Agile Electrification Project, an industry coalition facilitated by the UC San Diego Design Lab, at 9500 Gilman Dr, La Jolla, CA 92093. It is an informational site about the coalition and its work.
What this site collects
Nothing. There are no accounts, no forms, no search, and no way to submit information to us through these pages. The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser’s local or session storage. It runs no analytics, no advertising or marketing technology, and no third-party embeds. Typefaces are served from this site rather than from an external font service, so simply reading a page does not contact anyone else.
What our hosting provider records
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard request information such as IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. That data exists to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse. We do not use it to build profiles, we do not combine it with other sources, and we do not sell or share it. We do not maintain our own separate logs beyond what the host keeps.
If you email us
Email addresses published on this site are routed through Mailgun, our email provider, before reaching us. If you write to us, we receive what you send (your address, your message, and anything you attach) and keep it for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a normal record of correspondence. We use it only to reply to you and to carry out the coalition’s work.
Service providers
Two providers process data on our behalf: Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery, and Mailgun for email. Each acts under its own terms and privacy practices. We share no data with anyone else, and this site transfers nothing to advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics vendors.
Tracking signals
Because the site performs no tracking, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals have nothing to act on. There is no tracking to opt out of, and no consent banner, because there is nothing that would require your consent.
Alignment with UC San Diego’s privacy principles
The Design Lab is part of UC San Diego, and this site is built to match the university’s privacy principles (opens in new tab). In practice that means data minimization, since the site collects no personal information at all rather than collecting it and promising restraint; transparency, since this notice describes actual behavior rather than boilerplate; and due diligence, since the only third parties involved are the two named above. If you believe the site falls short of those principles, please tell us.
Changes to this notice
If we add anything that changes the picture, such as analytics, a contact form, or an embedded service, we will update this page before that change goes live, not after.
